The Farm at Lake Pickett (“we,” “us,” or “our”) offers customers mobile alerts, notifications, and marketing messages related to events, tours, weddings, promotions, and other offerings via SMS text messaging (the “SMS Service”). By participating in the SMS Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. These terms are incorporated into and form part of the SMS Terms of Use (collectively, the “Terms”).

IMPORTANT: These Terms include provisions that limit our liability and affect your legal rights regarding participation in the SMS Service. Please read them carefully.

Signing Up and Opting In to the SMS Service

To enroll in the SMS Service, you must provide a valid mobile phone number and an electronic signature indicating your consent to receive text messages from The Farm at Lake Pickett. You must be at least 18 years of age to participate.

Before messages begin, you may be required to confirm your opt-in by responding to a verification text message sent to your mobile phone. The Farm at Lake Pickett reserves the right to modify or discontinue the SMS Service at any time, with or without notice.

By opting into the SMS Service, you acknowledge and agree that you:

  • Authorize The Farm at Lake Pickett to send SMS or MMS messages using automated or non-automated technology to the mobile number you provided.

  • Understand that consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

  • Confirm that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided.

  • Consent to the use of electronic records to document your opt-in.

Message and Data Rates; Carriers

Message and data rates may apply. You are responsible for all charges imposed by your wireless carrier related to sending or receiving text messages.

The SMS Service may be supported by major carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and other regional carriers. The Farm at Lake Pickett is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues or network limitations. The SMS Service may not be available on all carriers or devices.

Opting Out of the SMS Service

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from The Farm at Lake Pickett. After you send STOP, you may receive a confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out.

Requests that do not include the STOP keyword may not be recognized by the system, and we are not responsible for failing to process incomplete or incorrect unsubscribe requests. Opting out of one SMS program does not automatically opt you out of other programs you may have joined.

These Terms will continue to apply even after you opt out, to the extent permitted by law.

For help at any time, reply HELP to any message you receive. You will receive instructions on how to use the SMS Service and how to unsubscribe.

Mobile Number Changes

If you change or deactivate your mobile phone number, you agree to notify The Farm at Lake Pickett promptly to prevent messages from being sent to the wrong recipient. You may notify us by calling 407-442-3393 or emailing admin@thefarmatlakepickett.com.

Data Collection and Use

Information collected through the SMS Service may include your mobile phone number, wireless carrier, message content, timestamps, and other information you voluntarily provide. This information is used to operate and improve our services, communicate with you, and deliver messages you have requested.

The Farm at Lake Pickett is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier.
